This course provides a practical and technical understanding of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), focusing on its regulatory requirements, embedded emissions calculation, data collection, reporting, and verification.
Participants will learn how to identify CBAM-covered products using CN codes, calculate direct and indirect embedded emissions, build reliable monitoring and reporting systems, assess data quality, and prepare documentation suitable for verification and EU importer requirements. The course also covers the relationship between CBAM, ISO 14064-1, ISO 14067, and GHG accounting.
