This course provides a practical introduction to Greenhouse Gas (GHG) and Carbon Footprint Accounting, covering the fundamentals of climate change, GHG emissions, carbon footprint concepts, and the key international standards used for carbon accounting and reporting.

Participants will gain an understanding of GHG Protocol, ISO 14064-1, organizational boundaries, emission scopes, GHG accounting principles, activity data, and emission factors, providing a strong foundation for accurately calculating and reporting an organization’s carbon footprint.
